The National Enquirer published — on its cover — a photo of the late Whitney Houston in an open casket, reportedly taken during one of the beloved singer's private funeral services last weekend.
Media outlets worldwide have decried the tabloid's shocking "last photo" as "morbid" and "shameful." The magazine has not disclosed who exactly took the controversial photo of the Grammy-winning "I Will Always Love You" singer, who died Feb. 11 at age 48.
"I thought it was beautiful," claimed National Enquirer's publisher, Mary Beth Wright, to FoxNews.com.
