The music industry is famously difficult to make it in. Not only do artists have to push themselves to the limits to be recognized in the first place, but they also have to maintain their careers after they are signed to a label. Also, even if they are successful, sometimes the paychecks are not enough.
Even if an artist, specifically a rapper, makes enough money to support themselves, it is unlikely that they will be able to rap forever. They will eventually have to find something else to support them. Here are some rappers that left the music industry behind to pursue a simpler life:
